FGO Servant Guide : Henry Jekyll & Hyde

Jekyll Ascension
 Henry Jekyll & Hyde
* * *
Obtained from clearing London
Stats :
  • ATK / HP with Fou upgrades at Lv. 70 : 7.310 / 10.665
  • ATK / HP with Fou upgrades at Lv. 100 : 9.543 / 14.108
  • NP Gain on Attack / Defense : 1.05% / 4%
  • Star Generation Rate :  25.6%
  • Card Set : QQABB
    • Quick : 2 hits
    • Arts : 2 hits
    • Buster : 1 hit
    • Extra : 3 hits
As the first servant that can change class while in battle, Jekyll & Hyde looks like he have a lot of potential. Let’s see what he got up his sleeve.

Looking at his stat, his HP is the highest among other *3 Assassins. Not to mention the HP upgrade he got when transforming to Hyde. It’s comparable to *5 at around 12.000++. As for the Attack stat, it’s… quite bad. His Attack stat is the lowest of all *3 Assassins, nearly tied with *2 Hassan, but still better than Hassan.
His NP Gain is quite high at 1.05% but his card deck is not helping much. I mean, with 1 Arts card and only 2 hits at that? It can take forever to fill up his NP. His AQQE combo is also not generating that much NP. We need his NP ASAP, so this is really, really bad. His star generation is quite bad as well for an assassin. 2 hits Quick card is not helping at all.

Passive Skill :

Presence Concealment A
As Assassinicon Assassin, Increases unit's critical star acquisition rate by 10%

Mad Enhancement A
As Berserkericon Berserker, Increases damage of unit's Buster cards by 10%

As his card hit is bad, Presense Concealment is not helping much. But, as Hyde, Mad Enhancement really helped to boost his damage.

Active Skill :

Monstrous Strength B (Available from the start)
Increases own attack for 3 turns
5% / 6% / 7% / 8% / 9% / 10% / 11% / 12% / 13% / 15%
As Hyde, further increases own attack for 3 turns.
25% / 26% / 27% / 28% / 29% / 30% / 31% / 32% / 33% / 35%
Cooldown at Lv 1 / Lv 6 / Lv 10 : 7 / 6 / 5
Leveling priority : 1st

All of Jekyll’s skill are only great when he is already transformed to Hyde. 50% attack boost on lv 10 is freaking huge. Even better than Imperial Privilege attack boost. Even at lv 1, it’s still great at 30% attack boost. He really need this because of his low base attack. Max this first.

Voice of Panic A (Unlocks after 1st Ascension)
Increases own debuff success rate once.
5% / 6% / 7% / 8% / 9% / 10% / 11% / 12% / 13% / 15%
As Hyde, further increases own debuff success rate once.
85% / 90% / 95% / 100% / 105% / 110% / 115% / 120% / 125% / 135%
10% Chance to stun one enemy for 1 turn.
Cooldown at Lv 1 / Lv 6 / Lv 10
: 8 / 7 / 6
Leveling priority : 3rd

This skill is super good. As Hyde, he will stun enemies, guaranteed. 100% chance at Lv 1, 150% chance at Lv 10, absolutely great. Heck, why not just change it to guaranteed stun. Just remember to not use it as Jekyll. Because you can utilize it to it’s fullest from lv 1, max it last.

Self-Modification D (Unlocks after 3rd Ascension)
Increases own critical damage for 3 turns5% / 6% / 7% / 8% / 9% / 10% / 11% / 12% / 13% / 15%
As Hyde, further increases own critical damage
25% / 26% / 27% / 28% / 29% / 30% / 31% / 32% / 33% / 35%
Cooldown at Lv 1 / Lv 6 / Lv 10 : 7 / 6 / 5
Leveling priority : 3rd

Another great skill if you can feed him crit star as Hyde. 50% crit damage boost is great, on par with Self-Modification A and EX. Sadly he doesn’t get the star absorption buff like them. Max it second.

NOBLE PHANTASM

Dangerous Game
The Secret Game of Sin
Rank C (C+ after NP upgrade)

As Hyde, this Noble Phantasm does nothing
Changes unit's class to Berserkericon Berserker.
Increases Max HP and Recovers all HP [Level]

Rank C : 2000 / 3500 / 4250 / 4625 / 5000
Rank C+ : 3000 / 4500 / 5250 / 5625 / 6000
Increases unit's Buster card damage indefinitely [Overcharge]
Rank C : 20% / 30% / 40% / 50% / 60%
Rank C+ : 40% / 50% / 60% / 70% / 80%

His NP is what makes him a powerhouse. +6000 HP at level 5 is great for him, reaching about 15000 HP. He need this for survivability because as Berserker, he’s weak to pretty much everything. The buster damage boost is really helping him boosting his damage. 80% buster damage boost indefinitely at 500% NP is no joke, although I’m sure it will be hard to achieve that because we want to transform him at the start of boss battle. I usually only managed to fill his NP to 200%, but that’s enough for me.

Recommended CE : Starting NP CE (Kaleidoscope, Teacher and I, Golden Sumo ~Rocky Area~, Participation of the King, Imaginary Number Magecraft)

Kaleidoscope, IMO is the best CE you can give to Jekyll. 100% starting NP when max LB and +2000 attack at lv 100, Jekyll will love you so much. It helps his low base attack and give him option to transform from the start of the battle. Even if it’s not max LB, 80% starting NP is great, better than any starting NP CE out there.

Golden Sumo CE is also really great for any servant that need starting NP gauge from the start by giving it +50% NP gauge and it also give them +15% attack at max LB. It also have 2000 attack at lv 100 too.

With +60% starting NP , +15% Buster damage, and 2000 attack at lv 100, Participation of the King is a another great option for Buster-based servant, and Jekyll is no exception.

Another CE that I recommend is Teacher and I, with 60% starting NP and crit star absorb +400% at max LB. This makes his 3rd skill very, very good. Sadly, this CE doesn’t increase attack but +3000 HP at lv 100 is great.

We also got Imaginary Number Magecraft, with 75% starting NP at max LB. Also, you can easily get this because this is a *4 CE, not like Kaleidoscope.

For *3 CE, you have Ley Line, with 50% starting NP at max LB. Great if you don’t have other recommended CE because you can easily farm this from Friend Gacha.

Overall, Jekyll is quite complicated for me at first, but after using him after few times, he is quite nice. His damage and skill as Jekyll are awful but once he’s transformed to Hyde, it all changes. His team composition is basically Buster Team, with someone to boost his buster damage and someone to heal or tank for him. Helena and Waver is best support for him. Shakespeare is great too. Leonidas is great as well, he can tank and boost buster damage. His only competiton so far in *3 Assassin ladder is Fuuma, because while Fuuma is not attack focused, his debuff skill is much better than Jekyll, and his base damage is better too.

Great damage, awesome skills, he is definitely on my top tier *3 servant list. If you like him and have the resources, go ahead and use him.

Hans Christian Andersen Servant Guide

Hans Ascension
Hans Christian Andersen
* *
Obtained from Friend Gacha
Stats :
  • ATK / HP with Fou upgrades at Lv. 65 : 6.748 / 9.474
  • ATK / HP with Fou upgrades at Lv. 100 :  9.334 / 13.234
  • NP Gain on Attack / Defense : 1.66% / 3%
  • Star Generation Rate : 10.8%
  • Card Set : QAAAB. Quick : 2 hits, Arts : 1 hit, Buster : 1 hit, Extra : 3 hits.
Hans Christian Andersen is our Poor Man's Support. Everyone can get him, which makes him very accessible with beginners who need early support. But can he do his job as a early game support, and maybe carry us to mid-game, or even end-game? Let's find out.

Looking at his stat… Well, he’s a 2 star alright. With his ATK stat, he won’t do much damage, but hey, he’s a support, so he doesn’t really need high atk. His HP is higher than his fellow *2 support Shakespeare by noticable margin. His NP Gain is the highest if compared to another Casters, even beating Waver at 1.64%. With his card set, it’s no surprise that his star gen is not really good, about 8+ stars in a QAA chain.

Let’s move on to his skill set.

Passive Skills :

 Item Creation C
Increase debuff rate by 6%

Territory Creation D
Increase Arts Card performance by 4%

Item Creation is not really helping here, because he doesn't have debuff skill. Territory Creation helps his NP gains when using Arts, even if it's only 4%. He need every NP gain he can get if you want him to heal your team often.

Active Skills :

Human Observation A (Available from the start)
Increase critical damage (3 turns)
10% / 13% / 16% / 19% / 22% / 25% / 28% / 31% / 34% / 40%
Cooldown at Lv 1 / Lv 6 / Lv 10 : 7 / 6 / 5
Leveling priority : 2nd

If you paired him with servant that rely on crit like Nobu or you put him in a quick team, this skill is really great. +40% crit damage for 3 turn is no laughing matter.

High-Speed Incantation E (Unlock at 1st ascension)
Greatly increase NP gauge
50% / 52.5% / 55% / 57.5% / 60% / 62.5% / 65% / 67.5% / 70% / 75%
Cooldown at Lv 1 / Lv 6 / Lv 10 : 8 / 7 / 6
Leveling priority : 1st

This is Hans’s best skill, no doubt. I mean, +50% NP gauge at Lv.1 is really awesome. And it get more awesome at Lv. 10 with +75% NP gauge. Max this skill first if you can.

Innocent Monster D
Receive critical stars each turn (3 turns)
Reduce self defense by 14% (3 turns)
3 / 4 / 5 / 5 / 6 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 8 / 9
Cooldown at Lv 1 / Lv 6 / Lv 10 : 8 / 7 / 6
Leveling priority : Last

Giving us crit stars is good, but at cost of reduced defense? I don’t think so. And in order for this skill to really work in conjuction with his other skill, it need to be at least at level 6. Because at level 1, 3 star doesn't really mean anything. If you want to use crit to boost your party NP gain, use Four Beasts in the Moonlight CE or Fox's Night Dream CE to really crank it up.

NOBLE PHANTASM

Marchen Meines Lebens
A Story Just For You
Rank C (C+ after NP upgrade)

Chance to apply each of the buffs below :
Increase attack, defense (& critical star rate after NP Upgrade)  (3 turns) [Overcharge]
Recover HP (3 turns) [Overcharge]
Chance : 60% / 70% / 75% / 77.5% / 80%
Buff + : 20% / 25% / 30% / 35% / 40%
HP Regen : 1000 / 1500 / 2000 / 2500 / 3000

This is why he’s called one of the best support in the game. Even though the first 3 buff is RNG, you still get attack, defense, crit star rate, and regen buff for 3 turn. No other servant is more generous than Hans. With his NP gain, his skill set, and his 3 arts cards, he can spam his NP as much as he likes. Even Irisviel and Tamamo can’t match his heal. Of course, Medea Lily is better but not all people have her. At 500% NP, his heal is the best among all healer, but since we want him to buff our party first, I think 300% is the best output you can do for maximum efficiency. At 300%, 2000 hp / turn is still really big.

Recommended CE : NP Gain CE (Divine Banquet, Halloween Petit Devil, Four Beasts in the Moonlight, Fox’s Night Dream)

You want him to heal at every turn? Put NP Gain CE on him and he will do his job to the very best.

Divine Banquet, with whooping +30% NP Gain at max LB, is IMO the best CE you can give to Hans. He can fill his NP to 100% in 2-3 turn with it.

Halloween Petit Devil is equally good, maybe even better, but since I don’t have Max LB Halloween Petit Devil, Divine Banquet is still better for me. +25% NP Gain and start battle with 60% at max LB? Man, this loli is great. You can start his NP early and maintain it through the battle. Great stuff.

Four Beasts in the Moonlight is also a solid pick. +15% NP Gain, +15% crit star generation, heal 300 hp / turn at max LB is really, really good and make Hans survive better while maintaning his NP.

Lastly, our newest NP Gain CE, Fox’s Night Dream is also a good one. +25% NP Gain, gain 4 crit star / turn is great if you are using Hans in a Quick team, and still good in other team.

Sadly, for beginners, you can only get Divine Banquet as the other recommended CE are event CEs and no longer available. But the other 2 *3 CE, Magic Crystal and Jeweled Sword Zelretch is also great. Check it out.

All in all, Hans fulfill his role in Fate/Extra CCC, and still managed to live up to it in Fate/Grand Order. While his damage is not satisfactory, but his support skill make up for that. High Speed Incantation, along with his already great NP Gain, makes him can spam NP to his heart content. Put him on Arts team for maximum potensial. His crit star skill is also makes him favorable in Quick team. He’s definetely the man if you want to play the long game because his survivability is really great. Viable through late-game, especially with recent Grail Ascension. He also fits in any party composition because his skill sets. Awesome stat for a *2 and really recommended.

Also, Takehito Koyasu. Basically a mini DIO. There’s no reason for you to not have him.

Gathering in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

monster-hunter-3-ultimate
Having problems with gathering in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate? Or you want to maximize your gathering efficiency? Here’s how!

When you start the game, you will start with Leather Armor that suited for gathering. The skill for this armor is :

Gathering +1 (+10), Spirit's Whim (+10), Speed Gathering

You can upgrade Gathering +1 to Gathering +2 with Gathering Jwl 1 Decoration. You can make Decoration at the blacksmith. Make 3 of them and attach it to your Leather Armor so you can get Gathering +2 (+16). This is the only armor that have Gathering +1 and Speed Gathering except for it’s High Rank Armor, Leather S Armor.

For the gathering itself, you can gather from Moga Woods, or you can also do |Deliver 2 Kelbi Horns| quest for easy money and also easy gathering. You can also gather at other places if you look for the Harvest Quest at Port Tanzia. You can go to Deserted Island, Sandy Plains, Flooded Forest, and Tundra. That way you can collect much faster than what the single-player quest can give you at the start of the game. You can also do this at High Rank and G-Rank.

Happy Gathering!

Nuzlocke Emerald Challenge 2

Part 2
Hey guys! Time for an updates after a few days. I'm very busy lately because so many projects and i'm working on a game. So let's start!

The journey so far is really made me afraid. So far no casuality but there's one time where my Wurmple nearly die, only 1 HP left! Oh yeah, i should update my captured pokemon

My pokemon so far :

Starter Pokemon - Combusken Lv16 (Blaze) Already evolved! YEY!
Route 101 - Poochyena Lv7 (Pochi)
Route 103 - Wingull Lv 11 (Birdy)
Route 102 - Ralts Lv 7 (Grace) LUCKY!
Route 104 - Poochyena Lv4 (Pon) For backup, i guess
Petalburg Woods - Beautifly Lv 10 (Bugsy) Good addition to the team :D
Route 116 - Nincada Lv7 (Ninja) Another rare pokemon! NICE :D

Now i'm in Rustboro and still grinding for the gym. I'm still afraid to challenge the gym because of Nosepass. He's uber strong for the first gym and can OHKO my Combusken and Wingull with ease :( Gotta keep grinding until my pokemon are strong enough.

Well, see you later in my next Journal!

Nuzlocke Challenge : Pokemon Emerald!

Hello again everyone! Finally a new post after a long time. I've been busy with my college and other stuff so i can't really update the blog a few months back.

So anyway, now i'm gonna start my journal about Nuzlocke Challenge! It's a interesting challenge where you apply some special rules that really affect the gameplay and it's only applies for Pokemon series. There's only 2 rules to this challenge, which is :

1. You may only capture the first Pokemon you encounter in each new area you explore. If you accidently killed it, no other chances for you in that area.

2. If one of your Pokemon faints, you must release it.

And i've added my own rules. This is optional and only for me. You may use it too if you want.

3. Whiteout means GAME OVER.

At first, the rules maybe simple. But when you go through it, you will realize that your companion is so important that you don't want them to die.

You can also see the info about Nuzlocke Challenge here :
http://www.nuzlocke.com/challenge-comic.html
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Nuzlocke_Challenge

I just started a new file in Pokemon Emerald and now i'm at Oldale town. So far i've captured :

Starter Pokemon - Torchic at Lv5 (Nickname : Blaze)
Route 101 - Poochyena at Lv3 (Nickname - Pochi)
Route 103 - Wingull at Lv 3 (Nickname - Birdy)

So far so good. I even got a Flying Pokemon early because i've played Pokemon Emerald before and i know that Flying Pokemon is quite hard to find here, especially the strong one. My first pick is Taillow but since i got Wingull so it'll do :)

See you guys at the next journal of Nuzlocke Challenge!
